LA Intro Graduate Studio II [LA 5525]

Senior level design associate responsible for design development and construction documentation of projects of various scale and complexity. Produces refined illustrative graphics for presentations and project-related documents.

Breadth of teaching experience centered around freshman-level courses for students majoring in graphic and interior design. Foundations classes included the assignment of projects prescribed by the design department. Prepared lectures and teaching methods related to each project and guided students to completion of deliverables. Provided guidance related to the design process and assessed final products along a rubric furnished by the department. Introduction to Interior Design focused on exposing new students to the profession and expectations for the completion of the degree program at UCO. Created the syllabus and schedule of projects for the class. Developed lectures and other course materials to disseminate information related the field of interior design related to prominent professionals, construction documents, building components, materials, and professional practice. Taught a series of foundational courses related to the field of landscape design. Trained students in traditional, hand-drawn methods of visualization as a part of introductory graphics courses. Developed a series of projects for a computer graphics course that centered around proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUP, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign. Created a series of projects for a design theory studio that allowed students to hone their newfound skills in the creation of fully developed projects for real clients.
