As an Operations Officer in the US Army, I have over 21 years of experience in planning and executing complex projects in high-stress, cross-cultural, and combat environments. I have a proven track record of succeeding in challenging situations, solving complicated organizational problems, and building cross-functional teams. I hold a BS in Organizational Leadership from the University of Charleston School of Business & Leadership, and I am pursuing a BSE in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University concurrent with beginning an MBA at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.My core competencies include leadership, program management, risk management, training and concept development, capability assessment, operations planning and evaluation, and resource and talent management. I have developed and mentored teams so they can accomplish organizational objectives, and I have been recognized as a focused, caring, and capable leader. I have also identified critical capability gaps and coordinated with key stakeholders to develop new tactical applications for novel capabilities, such as cyber and unconventional options. I have contributed to the strategic planning and innovation of international operations in collaboration with multiple USG agencies. My mission is to leverage my expertise and skills to build the future national security structures, capabilities, and industrial base to support Service Members and our National Defense.
