As Senior Technical Program Manager and PMO lead, I partnered with the engineering organization and executive leadership team to create cohesion and alignment across the organization through the implementation of a unified Agile schedule and engineering roadmap. By unifying the schedule and roadmap, creating engaging, organized meetings and tracking methodologies, we went from keeping our team goals and information in Google documents & confluence to using Advanced Jira roadmaps. This enabled teams and leadership to collaborate more effectively, strategize collectively, synchronize efforts, and deliver outcomes in a well-structured and consistent fashion.

As SOA Foundations Project Manager, I worked with the engineering & development teams to create, support, and manage Boeing's Digital Transformation projects in the middleware organization. This involved deploying new environments, services, and infrastructure to the Boeing production environments as well as migrating older existing services to Kubernetes. One of the deployments I worked on at Boeing that stands out was this massive Kafka MVP that was required to be production ready against of the most aggressive deadlines we had ever seen. With my leadership, we beat the deadline. For this deployment, I stepped outside of my usual role to assist my team with the security phase of the project by personally doing the security reviews with the security engineers and then personally mitigating every issue identified by the security vulnerability scans across each environment.

As Deployment Program Manager, I worked with the Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure's leadership teams, internal customers, and third parties to provide additional capacity and capabilities for services like Bing and MSN. One of the programs I was involved in was the deployment of ITPAC's (Self Contained Data Centers). These were complex deployments requiring a lot of coordination that typically took between 2-4 months to deploy and release to production. We managed to achieve a significant improvement in the process by enhancing the project workflows and sequences, resulting in a 50% reduction in the turnaround time. Many of the lessons learned and implemented to solve this problem were ported over to the other deployment types.

As Hardware Operations Manager, I managed a team of 30+ direct reports and was responsible for deploying new server equipment, building out new data centers, and maintaining the existing server fleet. I had the opportunity to work on many different unique projects and programs in this role. One of the projects I hold dear, where my influence was significant, was my role as the hardware repairs manager for Google's extensive server fleet in Atlanta. During that period, this server fleet stood as the company's largest. In my region, we were the first to reach the ambitious server repair goal of reducing the number of machines needing to be serviced by more than 75% in a quarter. These goals were not only ambitious but appeared nearly unattainable at the time.
