At HRGO Heathrow, my role involves mainly the acquisition of new clients and business development. After targeted cold calling I make client visits, negotiate rates, and discuss how we can move forward with client job requirements. Candidates are then thoroughly vetted before being presented to clients. My role has been mainly with perm positions.

London

I set up Savannah (UK) Ltd in 1989. The job entailed sourcing promotional gifts throughout Europe and the Far East for a wide range of blue chip clients. I quickly identified clients’ needs and budgets and then supplied the gifts right through to fulfilment. I was also responsible for bespoke gifts and premium goody bags some of which we supplied at the World Economic Forum in Davos on numerous occasions. Heathrow

I was responsible for liaising with the Referencing Team and the candidates, and implementing solutions for quick completion of the candidate referencing. This involved working to tight deadlines. I was very results orientated and liked to work well ahead of the given deadlines wherever possible. I also invited clients into the office to check every aspect of their job applications. My other role involved conducting induction and training to groups of candidates.

I ran a wholesale showroom for an exclusive brand of ladies clothing which was produced overseas. I managed a staff of 5 people and was responsible for selecting each seasons range, and organising extensive marketing throughout Europe and parts of the USA and Canada. This included exhibiting at all the major trade shows around Europe where I was responsible for organising the stand design, models, all literature, freight and fulfilment of orders.
