With over six years of experience as the founding Director of Re-Imagining Migration, I lead a global initiative that aims to ensure that all young people grow up understanding migration as a shared condition of our past, present, and future. I catalyze a community of educational leaders and social organizations around making migration a part of their curriculum and culture, so that all students can feel supported in their social and emotional development and civic participation.My work is grounded in the latest scholarship on history, identity, bias, belonging, and human rights, and informed by my previous roles as the Director of Scholarship and Innovation and the Chief Officer for Content and Innovation at Facing History and Ourselves. I have developed and overseen the creation of numerous educational resources that have reached millions of students and teachers worldwide, and that have fostered critical thinking, empathy, and action in the face of complex and challenging issues.
