A 4th generation joiner to trade, I moved into project management and co-ordination to further my career. I have 20 years experience in the construction industry with a broad and diverse knowledge base in domestic and commercial projects. I believe I have a unique skill set having experience from procurement and tender, through the physical hands-on construction of all types of structure plus knowledge of the financial, socio-economic and health and safety required for successful projects. My skills include Passive House and low-energy construction, management of complex, bespoke projects, problem solving and architectural detailing and value engineering. I achieved CEPH Tradesperson with the now defunct SPHC in 2012 and CEPH Consultant via the ESRU at Strathclyde University in 2013. I am a huge advocate for Passive House construction.I am passionate about energy efficiency, sustainability, homegrown timber and locally sourced materials in construction.
