With over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, Declan is an advocate of the fabric first approach to achieving better housing standards, through the use of Ecological Building System, Driving awareness and understanding of using improved technical specification to achieve key regulatory requirements and an overall improvement in building quality, Declan helps deliver CPD programmes for the Irish market, and working closely with industry bodies such as RIBA, RSUA, CIAT and RIAI to achieve accreditation of these programmes. Declan has an academic background in people management and training, holding a Bsc (Hons) and MA in Human Resource Management, which he has married with his technical industry expertise to become a familiar speaker at industry events, and an active member of various industry bodies and technical committees.A key part of Declan’s role is working with industry stakeholders to promote Building Solutions, which is aided by an unrivalled network of professional relationships garnered over the last 20 years of his career.
