I joined the Growth team when we were four engineers. In the time I was on the team I:* Helped build an API to streamline the way companies are created in Gusto's codebase* Worked primarily on the onboarding product, helping simplify the process of onboarding to a payroll product (which is notoriously complex)* Helped the Growth team facilitate a brand refresh* Strengthened the analytics and data within the Growth onboarding sphere, making experimentation more rapid and safe* Built and strengthened relationships with the Sales and Marketing teams, resulting in developing internal tools for those teams as well as incorporating their feedback (and the feedback they receive from customers) back into our product* Led the team through three Ruby upgrades and two Rails upgrades, and developed a process for managing gem dependencies.
