Half of my time was spent in the lab, where I learned the importance of batch making, quality control, and raw material safety. As our company grew, I spent the other portion of my time learning the process of shipping and receiving.Once our new production facility was constructed, my focus shifted towards shipping and receiving. On a day to day basis I spend my time in the production facility, where I make batches, prepare orders for shipments, and help with raw material inventory. Additional duties to my warehouse preparation now include more hands on learning and sampling of raw material and finished product Quality Control. Here, I spend more time with the lab team members testing materials and verifying that each item falls under certain specifications and are acceptable to pass and use.Our company uses strict policies in regards to HAACP, GMP, OSHA, TTB, and DOT Regulations for shipping and receiving. I am currently certified in all of these policy groups and follow code for each on a daily basis.
