New Business Development ManagerArcher Daniels Midland Company Jan 2016 - Aug 2017Responsible for new product development covering technologies including Glucaric Acid, Bio-MEG, Bio-based Oxo Alcohols, Bio-Acrylates, Bio-Ethylene Oxide, and Reformate technologies. • Collaborated with DuPont to commercialize FDME (Furan Dicarboxylic Acid Methyl Ester) a novel monomer that will be used in PET resins to improve barrier the barrier properties of PET (water and soda) bottles; and led the marketing effort to find develop alternate end uses outside of packaging. • Worked with bio-Ethyl Acetate technology company, Greenyug, leading to the first commercial operation at ADM’s Columbus, Nebraska ethanol facility. It is currently under construction with completion scheduled for 2018.• Identified two large market opportunities for the use of Glucaric Acid, as a non-phosphate corrosion inhibitor for water treatment applications, and a chelating agent for “Down-Hole” fracking applications.• Developed the original marketing plan for bio-PG (Propylene Glycol) which eventually led to the first commercial PG facility in North America, currently operating in Decatur, IL and the only viable bio-PG facility operating worldwide. -
