As team leader, I spearheaded the development of a cross-platform desktop interface for remotely operating an underwater vehicle (ROV). The interface enabled remote control capabilities through the following key features:- Customizable controls to steer the vehicle and operate tools/instruments- Real-time video feed from cameras mounted on the vehicle- Developed using a portable UI framework for easy deployment across multiple operating systems- Collaborated with electrical engineers to ensure integration between the software and underlying vehicle hardware- Implemented an intuitive UI/UX design through rapid prototyping and user testing
