Based in Dubai-UAE, my role spans the entire Receivables portfolio for GCC & NA region (UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt & Morocco). Based in Abu Dhabi-UAE, my role was to manage Dhs1bn of collection portfolio for Al Qudra Real Estate. (luxury homes & apartment developments). Part of my role was to design, develop & implement a robust & effective collection process to maximize collections and cash flow & reduce bad debts & write offs for the company.Al Qudra Holding is a private joint stock company based in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, that aims to become a leading, globally recognized, and preferred investment business partner. Throughout the years, the company has grown significantly by focusing on sustainable development in the region and creating value by investing in fundamental growth sectors. Based in Dubai-UAE and reporting to VP Collections (Dubai & N.E.) my responsibility as a Consumer Collections Officer was to:• Achieve higher recovery rates by monitoring strict control over delinquent portfolios pertaining to consumer banking products, in compliance with laid down policies & procedures set by the bank.• Provide accurate and timely financial information to top management with regards to outstanding RBG Visa Card portfolio for the region. • Negotiate new payment proposals with delinquent clients and plan the appropriate strategy accordingly. • Proactively assess market dynamics and prevailing economic variances to create sustainable financial credit models with an objective to limit risk for the organization.• Handle the entire recovery spectrum from risk identification to final recovery through negotiation, proposal for settlement, regularization, rescheduling and effective solutions to all accounts under my given portfolio.• Review and analyze comprehensive legal/business terms and recommended travel ban, criminal/civil actions and scrutinized cases even after being written off to ensure favorable result.• Create analysis and projections of all collection data for daily/monthly reports and reported to the VP and Manager Collection & Recovery.

Based in Cairo-Egypt and as part of Citibank's Egypt Collections team I was responsible for the collection portfolio of mid-level & hardcore delinquent credit cards & loans (Bucket 3 & above) until full settlement of the account, including but not limited to legal cases.
