I am currently employed as a JNCO in the OTNW. My main job role is to guide, inform and recruit potential new recruits into the British Army by doing various events such as job fairs and visiting colleges and universities etc. to do a look at life into what a career in the British Army would look like.

I joined the British Army in March 2016 and wanting a challenge and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve been on various overseas deployments performing a wide range of responsibilities from medical to logistical to force protection. The main skill I have definitely taken away from this is to be adaptable as many people would agree not every day is the same in the army and sometimes you are required to go that extra mile or to step out of your normal/daily routine.From a young age the British Army has given me the ability to work well in within a team in a variety of challenging work environments whilst maintaining team cohesion and morale.

For 6 weeks I was employed at ACC Chester. Whilst employed there I was involved in various recruitment tasks such as visiting schools and job fairs and was accredited to helping repair the link between the Army Careers and the local Cadet Branches.

I deployed on OP Trenton as part of the UNMISS (United Nations Mission In South Sudan). I was first employed as a Battlefield Ambulance driver but then went on to do Force Protection and Environmental Health. It was on this tour that I received my promotion to Lance Corporal
English Teacher
I was chosen along with 3 other soldiers to provide English Lessons for the Mongolian Army. We had a class of 40 students and split them into 3 groups. I was the head of the beginners group. For my efforts I was recognised by the Mongolian Army and invited to their camp and I was posted on the Royal Engineers Instagram page.
