About Aidan Murphy

I am the spokesperson for the Department of Finance and advise the Minister, Minister of State and senior officials on all interaction with the media. The Department plays a central role in implementing government policy and in advising and supporting the government on the economic and financial management of the State.Prior to joining The Department of Finance, I was a Product Marketing Analyst with the Dublin-based startup ChangeX, building the world's leading technology platform for social change, and the Marketing Director at Irish startup KonnectAgain, revolutionising alumni relations and helping institutions to reconnect with their alumni.I achieved a First Class Honours result in both a Masters and undergraduate degree in Business Information Systems at University College Cork.I also worked on the successful election campaign for Deirdre Clune MEP who was elected as a Member of the European Parliament for the Ireland South constituency in May 2014.I am passionate about Entrepreneurship, Current Affairs and Technology.
