• Conducted botanical, land use, and property boundary surveys of conservation easement properties statewide as part of an extensive baseline report update process.

• Worked with a team to establish plots and conduct GPS transect surveys throughout the Sonoran Desert in Southern California, as part of a long-term Bureau of Land Management study of the 2015 CESA-candidate flat-tailed.
• Surveyed in accordance with special-status species protocol within all ESA and CEQA regulations, as outlined in the species' Rangewide Management Strategy.
• Tracked, measured, weighed, and PIT tagged flat-tailed horned lizards. Marked any/all new captures and noted any recaptures.
• Noted daily environmental conditions to help determine potential environmental threats to the species
