Business Development and Sales role for Planet Mark, a leading B2B Net Zero & Decarbonisation Consultancy.Responsibilities:- Lead gen & prospecting.- Engaging with relevant decision makers.- Understanding the priorities & challenges of the businesses.- Showing how decarbonisation can benefit their business environmentally & commercially.- Closing sales.

During my time at the GM Chamber, I created and launched the Business Green Scene. The network grew to one of the largest, localised sustainability networks in the UK.Inspired by the Bristol Green Capital Partnership, the network is a free and inclusive business network that is connecting people across Greater Manchester with an interest in environmental sustainability and the green transition.The network facilitates purpose-led collaboration between sectors, industries and job roles by hosting regular events and creating a business community that helps people motivate, educate and collaborate with each other. Accomplishments outside my role: - Successfully campaigned for the creation of the "Sustainability Champions" team within Tyro - Australia's 5th largest merchant bank. This entailed a team of 8 members, from different divisions of Tyro, meeting monthly to improve ESG relations with Tyro's Stakeholders - specifically their Shareholders. - I was a member of the Sustainability Champions team, representing the "Customer and Sales" division. During this, I was chosen as the CSR lead within the team.- Created a partnership with Tyro and Arnie's Recon, ensuring all Payment Terminals/ EFTPOS machines were 100% recycled for the first time.

A public speaking role where I delivered sales pitches in the lecture halls of universities across Australia. The pitch was to sign students up to Humanitarian and Animal Conservation holidays in Fiji, South Africa, Laos & Ecuador.

SDR role booking meetings with enterprise clients.

Auditing large enterprises & bookkeeping for SMEs.

Selling cavity wall insulation and surveying households to deem whether they are eligible for funding to facilitate a government initiative to reduce the average energy consumption of households.
