Primary avionics network integrator for AFDX networks. Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network interfaces for business and regional jets. Some responsibilities include troubleshooting any issues that may present in test and integration to categorize root cause (network or software), and resolving any network-driven issues. As an I/O focal, I also work daily with the aircraft systems team and change control boards verifying that build planning is in alignment with program and certification schedules, identifying dependencies, and ensuring that work is being planned appropriately. I am also acting as the DO-178B certification lead for the IMA software development lifecycle on some of the projects I support.

Provided technical support to solve problems with industrial electronic equipment: primarily Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable-frequency drives, visualization products such as PanelViews and VersaView industrial computers, barcode scanners, Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID), and communication devices. Worked with RS-422 and RS-232 protocols. Acted as the sole software specialist in the tech support department, supporting the programming software for many of the devices.My accomplishments include:•Supporting Rockwell Software products and teaching classes for customers to use the programming software for visualization products as well as ladder-logic programming as needed for RSView software instruction. •I was the primary point of contact for any software issues within the Technical Support Center.•Taught myself Visual Basic .NET to complete a project interfacing RFID scanners with their existing equipment.
