Hello! I'm Kayla and I'm a third year Computer Science student at Georgia State University. I seek a career where I can utilize technology to close education gaps among students. Education is powerful, yet there are certain barriers that prevent students from attaining quality education. For this reason, I aspire to use my technical skills to develop products or services that support student learning.My involvement within the education industry has inspired me to accomplish this goal. As a Tech Fellow for CodePath.org, I supported student learning by reviewing lessons with students, guiding students to solutions, and shared advice and resources to their growth. I also served as a mentor for Georgia State's RISE program where I met with my mentee weekly to support her academic and professional growth.
