He was instrumental in incubating and setting Huawei’s first GNOC (Global Network Operations Centre) in India followed by managing multiple Service Delivery engagements successfully with India as a key focus. In his role as Lead, Service Delivery, he was instrumental in converting many opportunities into sales by providing Baselines, Optimized delivery Models, solutions and other pre sales support.He successfully led and delivered multiple service delivery engagements (GNOC) for key customers like Airtel, Tata and Aircel encompassing including but not limited to managing Customer Relationship, Governance, SLAs, Operation Model OLA / WLAs, Efficiency Management and Resource Optimization.

As the Service Line Head for Technical Service Department, his role encompassed Resource allocation, fulfillment and utilization, Competency Development, Innovation, Vendor Management, Cost Optimization through serviceability measures, Performance evaluation, Coordination. Successfully implemented 3G network for TATA , Bharti, Idea, Reliance and 40G as backbone for Bharti and Vodafone.Akash has incubated, led and managed multi domain large teams up to a size of 600 FTEs spread across 13 circles for clients like Tata, Reliance, Bharti, Vodafone, Uninor, VTL, MTS etc. He initiated the service line for ‘Switch and Access Network Product Line’ with 1 FTE and grew it to 125 FTEs.
