Technical lead for a fantastic team focused on servicing internal users. We do everything from making sure that the computers and networking are functioning to deep customization of the ERP software (OpenERP) that we forked 13 years ago. So far, it's been challenging and sometimes exhausting but an incredibly excellent ride made so much more fun with talented team-members. (And, who'd of thought that management would require that I improve my communication skills to the point that it's even helping my personal relationships?)Previously, 11 years of experience guiding the development and technical direction of websites ranging from in size from internal usage to hundreds of thousands of users from requirements gathering, development and maintenance. A small sample of past projects include www.rockclimbing.com, www.coursework.info and www.ameinfo.com.Interested in technology since I was a child, I learned to program in basic on a TI 99/4A then moved to a C64 and wrote 6502 assembler. In high school, friends and I would compete trying to write the fastest 3d animation routines using the latest 386 assembler instructions. Still code on my free time and have always a million projects going on - currently playing with 3d printing and learning to write Rust code for an ESP32 board to make silly little IoT toys.
