The goal of this project is to explore how technology can enhance support services for individuals and providers across the state.My role involves collaborating with providers to identify the most appropriate technology solutions based on individual assessments and outcome-focused goals. I also contribute to the educational component of the project, presenting on key technology topics to help stakeholders understand and implement these solutions effectively.Additionally, I work with Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) to support their transition from state-level initiatives, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to implement new technology practices as the state moves in this direction.Through this pilot project, we aim to gather valuable insights and data to inform future policies and expand the role of technology in support services across Arkansas.

ARRM partnered with the MN Department of Human Services through the Innovation Grant. Our goal is to educate Minnesotans about Assistive Technology and Remote Support to promote the use of these crucial services in helping individuals increase their independence while reducing strain on staff.I serve as the Executive Project Manager for the grant. Through this role I organize trainings with lead agencies, providers, and community members so everyone can understand how to access and utilize technology to aid in their daily lives.Skills I implement with this project include:Project Leadership: Implement a state-wide education initiative on assistive technology and remote support, overseeing all project aspects from inception to execution.Training Development: Design and implement comprehensive training on assistive technology and remote support, tailored to the specific needs and requirements of diverse stakeholders.Collaborative Partnerships: Maintain a close partnership with MN DHS, fostering effective communication and collaboration to ensure project goals align with state objectives.Performance Evaluation: Conduct ongoing assessments to measure the impact and effectiveness of the training programs, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.

NextGenAT developed a platform to help disability service providers begin offering Remote Support in-house. We equip providers with tools to offer remote support themselves, so they can leverage their expertise to deliver customized remote support for the individuals they serve. This gives people more freedom to live independently, with support from a provider they know and trust.I work with NextGenAT as a Business Consultant. Originally I was asked to help temporarily fill in the role for the Chief Marketing Officer, however the team first wanted recommendations for improving their business processes and procedures.In the role I have focused on the following: Business Development Leadership: Spearheaded the revitalization of the company's growth trajectory by implementing strategic initiatives and cleaning up processes to enhance support for existing clients.Client Relationship Management: Develop client relationships, guiding them through the onboarding process and assisting in the creation of new business lines within their existing operations, enabling them to effectively leverage NextGenAT’s services for business growth.Technology Implementation: Personally managed the installation of our technology solutions for clients, ensuring seamless integration and functionality tailored to their specific needs.Process Optimization: Streamlined internal processes to improve operational efficiency, ultimately leading to a more responsive and client-centric approach.

Lead and organize a group of volunteers to educate, promote access, and increase the utilization of Assistive Technology throughout the state of MN. Outcome: Continuously growing the group, currently supporting 28 active members Organize quarterly Assistive Technology webinars about timely topics to help provide education and training to case managers, individuals, caregivers, and providers in MN. Outcome: Held ten webinars with attendance ranging between 100-250 viewers who actively participated.Created and arranged a free Assistive Technology conference with only volunteers as the presenters, organizers, and hosts.Outcome: Had 120 registrants with about 90 attendees; received positive post-event reviews and requests to hold the event again.

Outcome: Created adaptive equipment and additional services, while improving customer retention rates.Engaged in various public speaking events.Outcome: Lead direct county/agency training in numerous states; Delivered talks at nationwide Assistive Technology events; Presented at multiple conferences including ARRM and the State of Reform in Alaska focused on the workforce crisis.
