•Responsible for Supervision of the Receiving Department with direct responsibility for 7 production workers and one staff employee. Work schedule consists of four 12-hour rotating shifts. The Receiving department is responsible for receiving raw materials into the plant as well as other support items. •Responsible for entry of all receipts into the SAP system, which helps monitor inventory levels as well as the AS400 for lot tracing data.•Responsible for Safety, Quality, Housekeeping, and Productivity performance for which daily control points are used to monitor status.•Responsible for the truck unloading / loading schedule and distribution of materials to production departments. Also responsible for receipt and delivery of small parts, packages, UPS and FedEx.•Responsible for delivery and unloading of bulk oils, solvents, and wax into storage tanks.•Responsible for all document control for the Receiving department. This includes Training records, quality records, employee records, working standards, and department procedures. Also represent department during quality audits•Responsible for developing and presenting education for production workers. •This includes reading material, conspicuous standards, process control plans, simple 1- point education, and group meetings.•Maintained best housekeeping in the plant for 5 years based on regular audits by plant management. Inventory Analyst•Performed inventory functions including physical inventory, data entry, and inventory adjustments.•Maintained and monitored inventory data in SAP •Monitored, tracked, and shipped parts for repairs using UPS world ship computer system.•Assisted mechanics or engineers with obtaining parts within the storeroom when needed.
