Having established Hartwell Architects in 1989 and built a good reputation for our work undertaken across a broad spectrum of projects, we recognised the strong synergy between Hartwell Architects & HMY and how, by bringing the practices together, we strengthen and broaden the services we are able to offer. We are all excited about the joining of our practices and looking forward to our future together.Hartwell Architects founding partners Stephen Ball and myself have now joined HMY as Senior Architects continuing to manage the team at Dover with Stephen Coomber, Partner responsible for Canterbury and Dover offices. This will grow HMY to 30 staff comprising 5 partners, 14 architects, 2 interior designers, 5 assistants/technical staff and 4 administration staff.Hartwell Architects join John McCormack, Stephen Coomber, James Galpin, James Robson and David Hall in developing HMY as a leading Chartered Architect Practice in the South-East. With offices in Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells and now Dover HMY has the resources, experience and imagination to deliver our growing portfolio of work which includes a new 600 seat theatre for Kent College and a £20M mixed use development at Leyton Green.
