• In the process of building an efficient and effective advancement program for the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences.• Identify, cultivate and devise solicitation strategies for a defined group of major gift prospects of alumni, friends and corporate support with a particular focus on the greater metro New York area.• Responsible for raising over $2,200,000 annually for the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences resulting in 11 new endowed and current use scholarships that provide support for over 39 students and one Chair in Quantitative Finance.• Developing an active gifts in-kind program to benefit the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences and other programs across campus that attract non-cash gifts.• Oversee the development and production of promotional literature for the new Computer Science building to include a micro-site of the construction and flyer for the Industrial Partners Program. Currently in the planning phase for rebuilding the web-site and social media outlets.• Actively rebuilding the Dean’s Council and assisting with the seven departmental advisory boards by nominating key alumni and friends of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences to serve as volunteers.• Serve as the liasion for central and college-based development colleagues to ensure that solicitation strategies are donor centric, strategic and adhere to the University and College funding priorities. • Maintain an active portfolio of 50 donor/prospects capable of cash donations and planned gifts greater than $100,000 for all disciplines of engineering, computer science, and applied math.• Serve as mentor to junior level development officers.

• Identified, cultivated and devised solicitation strategies for a defined group of major gift prospects residing in the following states/regions: Michigan, Ohio, Western New York, Long Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, North Carolina, Florida, and Panama.• Maintained over $2,500,000 worth of gifts in the solicitation stage for faculty and student support, program development, and Dean’s discretionary funding. Closed a $1,000,000 gift for civil engineering.• Engaged alumni donors by having them host special events to enable the College to interact with other alumni residing in their area.• Helped to strengthen the Dean’s Leadership Council and departmental advisory boards by recommending key alumni and friends of L.C. Smith College to serve as volunteers.• Collaborated with central and college-based development colleagues to ensure that solicitation strategies are donor focused, strategic and adheres to University priorities. • Established strategic partnerships with alumni in Bahrain and Panama for internships, research opportunities for faculty, student support, and program development.• Maintained an active portfolio of 150 donor/prospects, in all disciplines of engineering and computer science.
