Rental Coordinator at Proserv, East Tullos Facility, for our rental fleet of calibrated instrumentation and recording equipment, pressure testing solutions, flushing and fluid cleanliness monitoring and chemical injection systems.

Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)· Conduct inspection of physical goods and corresponding documentation during Assembly, as per the defined requirements from the Quality Plan, Inspection Test Plan and/or Routing Documentation· Witness diagnostic tests and approve test documentation, as per the defined requirements· Undertake Pre-Shipping Quality Checks· Assist with the final inspection of physical equipment and associated documentation pack before dispatch.· Provide adhoc Quality Control support and expertise, as requested and required· Comply with relevant Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions· Contribute to the development Contractor/Customer Project Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans· Preparation of Quality Documentation· Control of Calibration records· Raise non-conformances, as required· Assist with investigations on non-conforming parts and processes· Assist in the development of Quality Control specific procedures, work instructions, etc.· Undertake additional tasks, as reasonably requested by QC Supervisor/QHSE Manager

Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following) • Active and leading role in the repair, maintenance, modification and assembly work of the business unit.• Preparation, completion and maintenance of all relevant reports, paperwork and registers in a timely manner.• Provide leadership and mentoring for team members in respect of all aspects of work life including approach to safety, operations and communications, thus enabling the growth and development of a strong, effective and cohesive team of Technicians.• Ensure all work is completed to customer required delivery date and standard, striving to achieve reductions in time and efficiency wherever possible.• Work cooperatively and jointly with other company personnel and departments to ensure a quality and seamless service.• Undertake to lead pre-shift meetings and tool box talks.• Demonstrate a continued effort to streamline work processes and identify opportunities for improvement.• Proactive approach to formal and informal performance feedback and record keeping as part of the support and input required to continually develop and motivate team members.• Assist Workshop Leader with the planning and issuing of work assignments to the team on a daily basis.• Assist Workshop Leader with the review of workload to ensure work is distributed to make best use of relevant skill and experience within the team whilst continuing to develop team skills through exposure to cross section of activities. • Liaise with staff, clients and suppliers as required in order to ensure successful execution of each job.• Assist Workshop Leader in any liaison with Human Resources partners to ensure all staff concerns are proactively and effectively managed i.e. absence, performance, discipline, grievance etc.• Ensure expectations are communicated to and understood by team members, to ensure objectives are clear and met.

The role of Engineer Surveyor, specialising in the Lifting equipment and Crane discipline is to undertake the thorough examination, or inspection, of various types of lifts, lifting machinery, cranes and materials handling equipment to ensure that they comply with current regulatory and statutory requirements, LOLER, PUWER. The role is based from home with travel across a specified region to undertake the inspections.In this role I was also trained and competent in wind turbine access for inspection of lifting equipment, personnel lifts, fall arrest equipment, fire safety equipment and hydraulic pressure storage equipment falling under PSSR regulations, including raising and upkeep of Schemes of examination.As a home worker this role demands a great deal of autonomy and shows I am a great self starter and have the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management whilst organising and carrying out inspections, often having difficult conversations where equipment is no longer safe for use.However you are also part of a bigger team of Surveyors in neighbouring districts and regions, and I was the Safety representative for East of Scotland, giving safety presentations, and guidance on a regular basis.

Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following) • In house repair, maintenance and calibration of mechanical, hydraulic and hydrostatic testing equipment within the company hire fleet.• In house and onsite repair of customer owned equipment.• Carry out all works in accordance with defined Quality & Health and Safety Requirements.• Liaise with clients and suppliers as required in order to satisfactorily complete each job.• Assist colleagues in maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.• Work together with colleagues to maintain an organised and efficient branch.• Provide technical support to Team Leader, using initiative and experience to identify solutions to technical issues which may arise.
