Raised significant funding in several rounds from US and Canadian institutions. After rapid growth Flexion’s primary customers were hit by crash on Nasdaq in April 2000 and company closed in early 2001.

Secure payments and communications systems. Used Racal’s acquisition of Airtech to combine its cryptographic based security businesses in UK, US and Hong Kong with £18m sales. Became one of most profitable divisions in Racal. Now prospers as Thales e-Security.
