Engineering tasks to include improving yield, process and capacity. Completed in the form of re-commisioning existing tools to increase capacity and reduce lead times for product delivery. Finding areas for continuous improvement and a reduction in downtime to increase efficiency across the department.Completing MSA tasks for customers and ensuring data entry systems are accurate and within specified tolerances.Maintaining furnaces within a clean room environment. Working with semi-conductor materials, ensuring careful handling and movement of products, resulting in over 100k product moves per week, throughout the site. Improvising and adapting to breakdowns and using materials on site to get the process furnace tubes back up and running. Ordering all frequently used consumables and materials.Sending off faulty parts for refurbishment and liaising with other companies to get the best price and time frame.Working with different controlled gases, O2, H2, N2, Teos and Silane to name a few. Planned maintenance and preventative maintenance on all systems, also providing a permanent on call service to ensure no downtime across the department.

Travelling throughout Northern Ireland upgrading road infrastructure by installing smart traffic solutions. Installation and commissioning of new crossings including detectors for vehicles and pedestrians.Working with Low Voltage and Extra Low Voltage systems and liasing with other contractors on site to enable successful completion.Working to deadlines and providing rapid response to breakdowns, including overtime whenever needed.

Travelling throughout Northern Ireland around quarries performing maintenance tasks on site. Installation and commissioning of new equipment and covering break downs to get site up and running again. Working with control panels, motors (single and 3 phase), a range of voltages from 12V to 415V. Planning jobs and gathering materials to complete tasks within allotted time frame. Organizing jobs and ensuring compliance from start to finish. Preventative maintenance and ongoing improvements to plant safety and efficiency. Some PLC testing involved, as parts of the plant was PLC programmed.Working in Belfast Harbour maintaining wastewater stations throughout the estate. Testing pumps and associated equipment, removal of faulty pumps and replacing them. Setting levels and testing flow through installed flow meters. Removal of blocked return valves and pipework and replacing if damaged or blocked. Monthly inspections of stations and ongoing preventative maintenance, ensuring stations meet regulations.
