In 2017 my entire outlook on life changed, want to to know why then feel free to ask. I wanted to do something for myself, we are only here once… you have to love what you do. So I trained to be a Football Scout and am currently embarking on that journey and loving every second! Football scouting feels like something I wish I had discovered as a youth and I wish I had always done it. I have never looked back! Can’t wait to see what to future holds.Anyway that’s me in a nutshell these days. I could talk all day about my past but the future is what excites me and I can’t wait to see what happens.#TheBestIsYetToCome

FounderSurvivors Supporting Survivors May 2021 - PresentScotland, United KingdomSurvivors Supporting Survivors was formed in May 2021 and is a registered charity in Scotland (SC051009). Our organisation intends to run a number of activities in order to provide relief to those who have suffered or been affected by brain injuries. As a lived experience organisation we aim to use our experiences to support fellow survivors in whatever area they are struggling with post-injury, as well as having fun, making friends and progressing in life again. For now offer 1 to 1 supportOur survivors have been on and are going through similar circumstances to the refferal. We know how hard a recovery can be. We've been there. We offer any kind of support a survivor might require to progress, at any stage of recovery. We are prepared to be a friend, give support, provide answers or just lend a shoulder to cry on. We can go from daily living basics like talking, reading, writing, doing the dishes, cooking, to more advanced support. We also offer Group work, socializing is a key part of recovery and often one of the hardest bridges to conquer. Combining a group of like-minded individuals who have gone through or are going through the circumstances you face is a brilliant experience. A chance to chat, about brain injuries, near death experiences or just the weather. The groups can be inspiring, encouraging and lots of laughter. As well as group work, we are also offering fun activities. There are lots of fun activities we try and put on , we are always open to ideas and are keen to just have fun and socialize whilst making progress in the ongoing recovery. From sports to fundraising or just social events. There is no limit to what we can muster... -
