Have been working in fire industry for 20 years. Firstly for tri-star fire where I was an apprentice and gained a city and guilds 236 part 1 & 2 electrical qualification. Working at tri-star gave me a very solid introduction to the fire industry. Allowing me to learn firstly on conventional systems and then progress on to addressable systems. As tri-star fire are a successful distributor for Eda radio equipment, I was able to learn and become proficient in the set up and commissioning of large systems including a 110 panel network installed at the treasury in 2002.Joined trinity fire and security in April 06 as they were and still are known as an elite company in the fire industry. Have learnt an enormous amount since joining the company and their drive for constant improvement has allowed to continue to pick up new skills throughout my employment. Have been on training courses for gent, notifier, Baldwin boxall, various graphics and pa/va systems. Trinity have also carried out in house training to assist in being able to spot sales opportunities to sell parts and works when needed. During my employment I was jointly involved in maintaining some of Trinity's biggest clients in London where I, as part of a team, was responsible for the maintenance, small works, sales and commissioning of these sites fire and life safety systems.Am currently working as Critical Service Project Manager for TechniFire Solutions.My role involves managing critical accounts for TechniFire. These sites include 15 data centres across London and South east and Historic Royal Palaces.I am responsible for reviewing and delivering the maintenance on these sites. Reporting on compliance failures then completing quotes and recommendations where needed.Also manage all small works and projects on my sites to allow for an ease of delivery and consistency for our clients. I present a monthly KPI report with regular face to face meetings which gives my clients opportunity to give feedback. This enables TechniFire to constantly improve our service and maintain good working relationship.I have also taken on responsibility of being an engineer mentor. Due to my long engineering background I am able to offer advice and best working practices for the engineering team.This includes ensuring the correct tools and equipment is always carried. That job sheets are clear and detailed for ease of quoting. That all engineers receive appropriate training to help them consistently improve.
