I’m an experienced Commercial Leader specialising in growth through acquisition, partnerships and retention. Having spent the first decade of my career working in leading Media organisations such as Trinity Mirror (now Reach PLC), Bauer Media & Global Media. I moved on to software sales in 2013. Joining an established Email Service Provider called Communicator, part of the Trinity Mirror Group (now Reach Plc) working in Acquisition, Retention and Channel Sales. During my time with Communicator, I worked my way up to Partner Development Director, before moving on to experience the startup/scaleup life at Hive. I joined Hive in September 2018 as hire number 9 amidst their Series B funding round. As Revenue Director at Hive, my responsibilities include Revenue Operations, overall Growth Strategies incorporating; Marketing, Sales Development, New Business, Professional Services & Channel Sales (Referral & Reseller Partnerships).Overall I have worked in commercial roles covering an 18-year career and I’d best describe myself as a data-driven, growth expert, responsible for shaping Commercial Teams, to maximise conversion rates, time to sale, process, performance and New Business Sales. I have successfully achieved this by implementing a culture of coaching, accountability, and ensuring high performance from the people within my business functions.
