Produced a Phonegap app for Android & iPhone, updating an existing Ruby on Rails app to support services required for this Phonegap app. Started with a new team to develop a native sport/social app, including helping train existing developers across to iPhone developer. Setup projects to continuously deploy the Rails backend and the client Android & iPhone.

Maintenance of an existing Rails app used to display mind maps online, and moving an existing Web Objects application for customer management to Rails, resulting in a significantly faster and more reliable user experience. Also wrote a Ruby based converter system to convert to & from competitors mind map formats, Word & Power Point

Pikicentral runs an on-line shirt printing designer and store. My role was a developer working on this Ruby on Rails system. I also migrated their source control from Subversion to Git.

Employment Office uses an electronic applicant tracking system written in Ruby on Rails, and also runs a few Job Boards also running Rails. My primary task was working on these systems, but also system administration for Ubuntu & Gentoo servers, and providing tech support for the Windows LAN.

At Eatingsafe I produced a Ruby on Rails web application for analysing and comparing food labels, including a data collection interface. As it was a small company I was also System Administrator for numerous Linux servers, and the office Windows server.
