Responsible for Medical Case Management across Tricare Overseas Program (TOP) in the Americas Region and International Operations particularly pertaining to medical transportation and Medical Services within Latin America. This involves medical input and direction to the medical assistance integration and support for the medical services site operations in the region including Site Health Reviews, Medical Emergency Response Plans and Medical Transportation as well as induction and training of medical staff.

Responsible for leadership in the delivery of medical assistance and managed care services to beneficiaries of the Tricare Overseas Program (TOP) in the Americas region.This includes:Oversight of the Clinical Quality Management Program Plan, quality of care initiatives, clinical patient care processes and clinical service delivery relating to TRICARE beneficiaries across the region.Clinical leadership and medical support to the 24 hour operations platform in addition to active involvement in the development, management and quality oversight of the regional Tricare provider network to ensure an appropriate provider scope to support delivery of quality care.

Responsible for management and oversight over all International SOS medical assistance activities in the Americas Region..Assessing medically related calls received by the PHL Assistance Center.Provided medical advice services to clients and members.Arranging and supervision of appropriate medical assistance for Intl. SOS members and clients, including obtaining medical reports, organizing referrals, medical monitoring, recommending appropriate means of medical transportation and monitoring the progress of a medical transport. Ensuring the enhancement of client operational procedures Provided focused case direction in the transmission and case monitoring process.Ensured structured training and development with respect to all relevant aspects of delivery of medical assistance services.Provided focused, medically appropriate case management direction and oversight as well as primary point of escalations from all relevant staff.Primary oversight in formulation and approval of all quotations for medical transportations.Medical supervision for all Aeromedical evacuation and patient transport relative to the International SOS Americas Region.Ensured that the network of providers utilized for Aeromedical evacuation comply with Intl. SOS Group requirements, standards, emergency mobile procedures, equipment and staffing.Oversight in the maintenance, upgrade and control of the emergency mobile medical equipment available in the PHL Assistance center.Key participant in the Intl. SOS Corporate effort to define, prepare, and formalize training manuals, training and orientation, continuous education programs for Coordinator Doctors, Coordinator Nurses, Operation Managers and medical escort personnel.Completed several missions as medical escort for commercial transport of medical cases.Assisted in the management and accreditation of Air Ambulance and Aircraft Charter providers and their service and safety standards.
