About Al Booth
Authentic connection with audiences is my thing. As an experienced commercial & BBC broadcaster, a podcast producer, and a live host I grow audiences by communicating on a one-to-one basis. I’m only ever talking to just one person… and lots of just one persons grows a healthy audience. I have increased audiences at different locations in the UK, in key demographics. You can't connect with someone if you're not authentic. As a presenter it is vital to care about being authentic and making that connection with an audience. And the best thing is, if you're just you... there's not an awful lot else to learn.That said, I also coach people to feel happy and comfortable on-mic as hosts of their own podcasts, on-camera to film videos for their own social media or websites, or as guests on TV, radio, podcasts.(You don't have to be nervous: you already have the answers.)So... there we go. That's me. A freelance presenter (currently doing the TV news 2-nights-a-week in the Midlands), a podcast producer for brands and self-employed folk, and a live event host and speaker. I'm also a Dad of two but, between you and I, I know a heck of a lot more about presenting and podcast production than I do parenting. I'm still making that up as I go along.
