Increased its capacity from 80 to 130 MGD with a new influent pump station, with rehab and doubling of bar screenings and grit removal, and with a new electrical building. Completed design for this $100 MM upgrade in collaboration with a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) in 2 years. The design partitioned all 3 unit processes into dual treatment trains so that any half can be shut down for maintenance of channels and gates, and to accommodate construction without full plant flow bypass pumping. Similarly, devised a puzzle-piece junction box to switch the 110-inch sewage interceptor flow from old to new without interrupting flow. Responsible for design, staffing, and training of all new hires. -
