As a Senior Data Engineer, I oversee the development and maintenance of over 1000 data models, ensuring they align with business goals. I manage the entire ELT process, integrating data into our warehouse, transforming it, and serving it through BI tools. My role includes owning and maintaining data synchronization between systems like Snowflake, Zuora, Salesforce, Pendo, and Mandrill, and implementing dbt best practices alongside automation techniques to enhance the maintainability of data models.I collaborate with stakeholders across the company to deliver tailored solutions that support their objectives, organize, prioritize, and delegate incoming requests from different teams, and lead the Analytics team by coordinating their work, facilitating meetings, and ensuring role clarity. I performed back end programming for a data-driven website where I managed the ingestion, cleaning and processing of hundreds of datasets. I have designed and developed several processes to programmatically ingest data from publicly available sources, clean the data, perform calculations, and output the data to a SQL database. Using programming tools such as Python, I performed Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tasks to convert and process data into a single consistent format suitable for the development of high-impact visualizations. I worked closely with a team of researchers, data scientists and developers to ensure the data was processed correctly and effectively.

I was a core member of the Coronavirus Resource Center (CRC) team working on various data analysis, data management and data visualization projects. Using ArcGIS products and Python I managed the US Map COVID dashboard's maintenance and updates for both web and mobile. I maintained and developed the code of many of the CRC's visualizations ensuring data quality, flexibility and accuracy to handle fast-changing COVID-19 data.
