Alejandro was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia. He relocated to the US in 2003 fleeing the violence that at the time plagued the country. Since then, Alejandro has lived in South Florida, with the exception of when he lived in Orlando, FL, and was part of the Opening Team for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios: Islands of Adventure.Alejandro obtained his Associates Degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2012. He then went on to work for renowned HGTV personality Krista Watterworth in Palm Beach. He then started to pursue his Master's Degree in Interior Architecture from Florida International University in Miami, FL.Alejandro graduated from FIU with his Masters in Interior Architecture in April 2021, where he also completed the Cruise ship and Super Yacht Design Certificate Program. He is currently a Sr. Interior Design Professional at HOK in Miami where he is also the unofficial designated comic relief manager and furniture guru.He has been featured in two episodes of the Imagine a Place podcast from OFS, has been part of various planning committees for events held by IIDA South Florida Chapter, as well as serving on the Board of Directors for IIDA South Florida Chapter.
