As part of the Tableau professional services delivery organisation, I currently deliverlarge scale transformation and optimisation projects. Working with a number ofmultinational organisations, I help my clients extract the greatest value from theirTableau platforms.I design and deliver governance and data culture strategies, develop and promotestandard operating practices, as well as tools to monitor and manage their content. Ialso enjoy being hands-on building front-end solutions, and have develop a number ofanalytics solutions, build governance and monitoring dashboards, and improve theperformance and usability of existing content.I am designing a number of reusable solutions for a number of requirements, focusingon governance, user adoption and information design, with the aim to deliver ourservices more efficiently and better guide our clients along their data journeys.

As a data visualisation consultant at a growing financial data services firm, I had theopportunity to work on the implementation of analytics solutions for some of thelargest financial institutions in the country. I also helped the sales organisation bydeveloping a number of ad-hoc prototypes to showcase the firm’s skillset toprospective clients.I was assigned to long-term (6+ months) projects,. Working together with informationdesigners, solution architects and scrum masters, from whom I was able to learn atreasure of additional knowledge, I was inspired to redouble my efforts to promote dataculture best practices and good governance in my clients' organisations.Highlights included developing a Tableau solution for the monitoring of the quality ofcustomer PII data at Lloyds Banking Group, and working on the development of ametadata and data quality management application together with Mudano’s solutiondesigners and programmers.

As the owner of the Business Objects and Tableau platforms for the EMEA region, I wasresponsible for the management and maintenance of enterprise platforms used by overa thousand of analysts and decision makers.This role gave me the opportunity to develop and implement the platform maintenancestrategy and the user governance operating model, as well as champion contentdevelopment best practices and provide product training to analysts.I was able to gain a wealth of experience with a wide range of business requirements,allowing me to obtain additional insights on the countless ways in which to extractvalue from data.

As part of a small BI team tasked with growing the analytics offering for one of the UK’slargest contractors, we successfully promoted data-driven decision makingthroughout the Holdings by significantly expanding the reporting portfolio, and bygaining the trust of the main stakeholders, using application developmentmethodologies to quickly fulfill a large backlog of requirementsMy team focused on data quality and BI best practices, while being entirelyself-reliant in terms of ownership of all analytics applications. This allowed me togreatly increase my expertise in building a complete solution starting with only thebasic requirements and access to raw data.Other key highlights include being part of the Agile planning and development ofin-house applications, building the applications' analytics as they were developed; andtaking full ownership of interactive visualisation analytics after driving the successfulintroduction of the platform into the Holding.

As a member of the EMEA Technical Support team at SAP BusinessObjects for 8 years,I assisted hundreds of customers from across the region resolve issues with theirBusinessObjects platform.I was given the opportunity to provide multi-language support to organisations fromall sectors, helping business intelligence teams carry through platform deploymentand maintenance tasks, administer users, and create and distribute BusinessObjectsreports.I contributed to the BusinessObjects knowledge base with dozens of articles,helping the knowledge platform grow since its inception.
