As Group Chief Security Officer I'm responsible of the Corporate Security Department that works for ensuring safety and security of the organization’s personnel, property, and data.The department's mission is to improve the corporate Security Posture by increasing visibility into assets and surfaces potentially exposed to vulnerabilities, developing the ability to identify and contain attacks, and implementing processes and procedures to react and remediate in the event of a Security incident. In addition, among its tasks, it engages in preventing data breach events, phishing events, malware propagation events, performing vulnerability scans, collecting and analyzing security data that proactively enables the identification and mitigation of the occurrence of security events by developing crisis management plans. Supports the business, when required, in evaluating specialized solutions in the Cyber Security area.I'm also covering the role of Group Physical Security Officer, that is responsible for ensuring that assets are adequately protected according to security plans, ensures that all protective measures are implemented uniformly and widely, periodically assessing risk situations and remediating them through internal staff and/or specialized external personnel.
