Balance historic preservation with Navy and Marine Corps mission critical projects. - Emphasize identification, evaluation, treatment, planning. - Work with other professional teams (NEPA) to comply with misc. Federal regs. Manage the Navy Region Southwest Cultural Resources Program - Directly supervise 5 cultural resources professionals and oversee a Regional team of 12 CRMs - Oversight and responsibility for setting CRM Region policy and strategy - Strategize long-term cultural resources planning, including PAs, ICRMPs, etc. - Responsible for programming, receiving, and implementing annual Region budget. - Avg. around $2.5M annually ($6.5M in FY12). - Brief issues/successes to leadership, including installation/Region flag officers. - Promote CRM achievements, policies, and needs within SW. - Southwest installations and team won 3 CNO Awards for FY12.

Evaluate the Flanders Hotel for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. - Property listed on the National Register – 11/20/2009 - Nomination unanimously lauded and passed by state HRB.

Provided preservation planning and technical assistance for 12 municipalities. - Performed Section 106 Reviews/Consultations for historic resources. - Reviewed subdivision and land development plans for impacts to historic resources.Major Accomplishments:- Initiated/received funding for countywide Public History Feasibility Study- Composed “Community Cultural Planning” and historical narrative portions of the Eddystone/Ridley Comprehensive Plan.
