This work continues to the present, and has helped me develop many additional skills including advanced microscopy (with image processing including registration, stitching, illumination correction, distortion correction, multiple focusing techniques, etc), fluidic system design and controls, and functional knowledge of molecular pathology (i.e. slide preparation, processing).Initially, developed software to control an automated system to perform GE process including automated fluorescent microscopy. As multiplexed work continued, led a multi-disciplinary team of varying size (between 5-10) focused on hardware (including all control software and initial image processing). Took on added responsibility of leading effort to develop image creation aspects of system. System and software were sucessfully transitioned to CLIA lab and offered as commercial test.

Authored publications around novel measurements of time dependent changes in friction between functionalized poly-silicon interfaces.
