Marketing is the coolest job in the world. I don’t know of many other services that have you wear so many hats at once. Good marketers are part therapist, part project manager, part data analyst and part creative. These traits, mixed with an ambitious mind, and some leadership skills appeal to the entrepreneurial spirit. That spirit leads me to build ad hoc teams at work to help achieve more and create a better understanding of our customers. The best form of leadership is in making those around you better versions of themselves.  The way to achieve that is inspiration, cooperation, and challenge.In my time as a marketer, I’ve worked on many projects from developing marketing automation to helping stand up new practices. All these efforts centered on making the businesses a trusted adviser. This required multiple campaigns across multiple avenues. I built content marketing campaigns, established a company blog, developed email, social media, SEO and SEM campaigns to promote those blogs and content offerings. Each success and failure helped to refine the strategy and drive more interest. These efforts would have been impossible without a cross-functional team and the marketing automation resources. The campaigns won, consistent, long-term clients.Outside of work, I’m a published writer for MESA. I do freelance marketing consulting helping small local businesses identify and grow their customer base.  I love to learn so I’m pursuing Agile Certifications as well as the CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+. I’m an avid motorcyclist, tech enthusiast, and podcast listener.
