Thesis titled "Distinguishability in Quantum Interference". Designed and executed a variety of experimental and theoretical projects to investigate the quantum interference of photons. Developed practical skills in the lab, controlling laser systems, cryogenic photon detectors and counting systems, and used Mathematica and Matlab for simulations and data.

Awarded competitive funding to support a 6-month project aligned with PhD research on experimental quantum optics.

Project centred on the characterisation of quantum light emitted by semiconductor quantum dots. Worked with a variety of laser systems, optical setups and cryogenics, and the project culminated in a publication in Nature.

Worked as an intern with the Structuring Strats team within the Securities division, concentrating on emerging markets. Helped model and price derivatives (Excel, Bloomberg), prepare presentations and coordinated projects with other teams.
