Alexandra researched her honors senior thesis in the Sela lab. She researched the function of N-acetylglucosamine, a component of human milk oligosaccharides present in breast milk, with relation to the infant gut biome and developing a proper microbiome.

Alexandra enforced University policy, accurately documented incidents, exercised strong problem solving abilities under stress, and acted as a liaison between residents and University administration.
