My name is Alex Garner, i am an undergraduate interaction design student at the Queensland University of Technology! I've recently tapped into a growing passion for design—Web, UX, and game design to be exact! It feels like a natural evolution. As a kid, you could always find me sketching outfit designs for my mum (my biggest cheerleader, by the way). But as I hit my teen years, gaming took over, and my love for creativity shifted gears. Fast forward to now, and here I am, a design student at university, blending that childhood creativity with the digital world that sparked my curiosity. It’s funny how things come full circle, right?Growing up, constantly moving from place to place gave me a unique lens through which to see the world. Every new city, town, and community shaped me in ways I didn’t realize at the time. It wasn’t just about adapting; it was about understanding how different environments affect the way people live, interact, and even think. These experiences sparked my passion for design. Now, as I look toward the future, I’m excited to bring that same sense of adaptability and creativity into my work, using design to make a real impact on the world around me.
