Project Manager
I joined Yarlington Housing Group as a Project Manager, working alongside the Programme Manager to primarily deliver projects for the business but also to support on the set up of the PMO function and to sell the process and benefits of a project office to the business teams. Alongside the project delivery, I helped to support the talent cohort for 2019, offering mentoring to 3 teams who had projects to deliver. When the partnership to Radian Group was announced, I helped in the early stages of the setting up of the combined PMO function, called Fit4Business and then led on a group wide task to define the ‘As Is’ states of each business functions tools and systems as one of the first steps of the Integration stream. Since the partnership has started, I have worked on two key projects and three research papers. The first was supporting the Company Secretary and the Legal & Governance functions as one of the Housing Associations within the group, had a Transfer of Engagement to another Subsidiary. The second project was working with all the relevant business functions and stakeholders to make sure they were operationally ready for a £400m stock acquisition from another Housing Association. The research papers were working with business teams to help research different initiatives that the Exec Team had identified as part of the interim corporate strategy. They were around Acute Homelessness, Environmental Sustainability & Customer Demographics. My most recent projects were working with the two legacy Commercial Services organisations. The first project, Stabilisation, were multiple streams of work based on outputs from a KPMG Audit. During this time, I was brought on to support operational readiness for Recovery, for the switch back on of customer facing services after the lockdown due to Covid-19. My current project is delivering Integration of the two legacy Commercial Services teams, based on the Integration blueprint & Commercial Service strategy.
Product Lead - Digital Web Analytics & Insights
Transformation Product Lead for Web Analytics, Insights & Digital Marketing. This role involves defining the strategy for these functions too the different Markets, across Europe, within Kingfisher. Working closely with the business teams in Screwfix, B&Q and Castorama France, (to name a few), I help to drive the Group Transformation forward to meet the deadline dates for each market. Working closely with key 3rd parties such as Google & Merkle Periscopix, I can make sure that the Business teams around the Group are at the forefront of the latest Analytics & Insights. Its also key to make sure the Group websites have the best UI and UX experience for the customers, so there is a stream of Proof of Concept/Value tests on various E-commerce tools.I am also leading on a work-stream around E-Commerce Experimentation. This involves defining the best process for Experimentation and working with a Delivery team to select the best tools for the stream (A/B or MVT testing tool and Heatmapping), via a vendor selection process. When the tools are selected, we can then decide on a roll-out strategy that best fits the Transformation timelines for each business within the Group.
Business Analyst
After 7 months as a Junior Business Analyst I was promoted to Business Analyst. I have worked on both the Roadmap and Delivery side of different projects and also worked on ‘Change Request Forms’ that initially come in from the business. I was the Business Analyst on a number of group projects around Analytics and a AI Search Tool. Most recently I worked on the GDPR Project, lookng specifically at Marketing Consent and Privacy Notices.Roadmap: Gather requirements from the business of how the ‘as is’ looks compared to the ‘to be’ process. Compiling and presenting a cost model which helps to work out how the project looks against budget. Creating a PDS to present the project to the key stakeholders and to aid the delivery team for that project. I also work alongside 3rd parties during a vendor selection process and to then obtain a ‘Statement of Works’ from the selected vendor for a particular project. Delivery: Work alongside the Business and Project team to help deliver the project; hosting daily stand-ups and surgeries to work out daily requirements and identify potential risks. Using Rally to construct user stories that are delivered in two week iteration cycles. These stories are then developed before being accepted by the business truth. I also work alongside the Business to make sure all Business readiness tasks have been created ready for deployment into live. The business currently operates using an Agile methodology, however I have had exposure to Waterfall techniques used by 3rd party Vendors.

Using the Geographic Information System (GIS) model for a variety of analytical activities. Running the bespoke Gravity Model to help identify and assess potential new store locations.Helping to identify and find the optimum number and location of stores.Creating Heat Maps for existing stores to identify where their customers are coming from. Creating Ad-Hoc maps for other areas of the business to help them interpret and share their data. Looking at ACORN profiling of our customers to see who is shopping with us and where they are shopping.Carrying out data analysis on our customers and existing estate to help maximise sales potential.
Trial Format Marketing Assistant
Working in the Marketing department in which I was a Merchandising/Marketing Assistant for our Trial Formats and then eventually the full estate. My initial main Roles and Responsibilities were to manage and control the Range Document and Episys (an online ticketing database) so our Trial Format Stores had the correct tickets and stock out. I started to also spend some time visiting the different store formats and working on which products should sit where in our Front of House display.
