At a young age, I fell in love with design. I would spend hours in Photoshop creating anything I could think of. Creating digital art was mesmerizing to me. I downloaded all the Adobe programs and went to work. Later, in college, I entered an innovation competition and built a social media app designed for students to find similar people on campus and aid in enhancing their experience in college. Although I did not win the competition, I realized how much fun I had researching and designing my first app. I reached out to a friend of mine who recommended UX. UX has the perfect combination of research that I loved doing from my scientific background in physical therapy and the design that I loved to create in my free time. I am ultimately passionate about improving people's day-to-day lives and with the scope of the tech world, what better way to do it than with elegant yet user-friendly product designs.
