I am a qualified nurse and was registered and worked for many years as both a respiratory and cardiac care nurse within hospital settings. My career adapted to my changing life circumstances and I retrained as a child minder- becoming Ofsted registered for approximately 5 years. This seamlessly led me into working with children with educational challenges within primary school settings. I went back to university quite late in life to retrain as a primary school teacher and gained a BaEd with honours degree and taught year 6 in a local outstanding primary school. As my own children grew my requirement for more flexible hours and my past nursing experience led me to a homecare role which I worked for 3 years.I made the transition into training management with the same home care company, combining my background in nursing and education and currently am working as a care manager.Throughout my careers I have developed a huge breadth of professional and layman's knowledge of both adult and child care. I work equally as well as part of a team or autonomously and am extremely organised and hard working. I enjoy being around people and react calmly and professionally in times of emergency or crisis; I am reliable and loyal to both my employer and my employees.
