• Worked directly with the Lead Outbound Operations Managers for one of Amazon’s largest fulfillment centers(1.2M+ square foot facility), directly responsible for processing hundreds of millions of dollars in products shipped annually.• Tracked shift performance and ensured that production goals of up to 25,000-30,000 units per shift were met along with an associated cost objective of 13 units per labor hour averaged across process paths.• Ensured adequate staffing through labor planning covering all 3 outbound departments(Pick, Pack and Ship Dock), with the total amount of associates reaching 100+. This included onboarding, training, facilitating intra- and inter-departmental labor share, allocating overtime(VET) or unpaid time off(VTO) to meet cost and production objectives.• Worked on 3 different projects throughout the facility :- Worked on a redesign of all 4 pick drop zones to ensure a clear standard of work across all 4 shift patterns and an improvement in associate safety.- Implemented a safety initiative at the Flow Desk to ensure a clear cut area for all AA’s to interact with leadership while on their PIT(Powered Industrial Truck).Driving down overall PIT incidents by 10% week over week.- Revamped workflow within the HOV(High Outbound Volume) process reducing chances of PIT/Pedestrian incidents and yielding cost savings through a reduction of idle time.

• Learning Ambassador - helped onboard and train new hires to the outbound ship dock, emphasizing safety and quality while meeting allocated labor cost goals.• PG - Was responsible for a specific section of the dock for the shift. These included BOD/Manual Sort and the 400 section of our spurs(401, 402, and 403). I was given the responsibility of making sure these sections were staffed properly, maintained safety rules, and had everything they needed to process all of our CPT’s that were promised to our customers.• TDR(Trailer Dock and Release) - Was responsible for making sure all of our trailers were safely attached, and detached, from the building, and that they were a safe environment for other AA’s to work in.• GOOSE - Consisted of inspecting and loading all of our customer shipments that were going to be shipped by air. The certification came after a 6 hour class, passing a written test, and passing a government background check through the TSA(Transportation Security Administration).• Safety Commission - Had periodic meetings to discuss the state of safety in the building, and to work on any suggestions to improve safety.• Worked on a project that changed the process in which we sorted customer shipments in the 400 section. Came up with the idea to install another flex conveyor belt off of spur 401, to be used to sort our heaviest go-cart sort at any given time. It was approved by the Outbound Senior OPs, and my OM, and over time it saved the building $1000’s of dollars in rolled freight.• Acquired Ship Clerk permissions and learned the process of Ship Clerking.
