As a Principal Designer, I’ve led projects of various scales across sectors such as healthcare, government, transport, infrastructure and the built environment, and financial and digital services. With a strong foundation in design, I’ve successfully directed multidisciplinary teams, shaping and driving complex initiatives to successful outcomes.My key responsibilities included:+ Leading project scoping, business development and enablement + Overseeing project management, including budget and timelines+ Building strong client relationships and enhancing their design capabilities+ Mentoring and leading designers across diverse projects+ Delivering projects using a comprehensive design toolkit that spans planning, qual and quant research, prototyping, testing, communication and implementation+ Designing and facilitating workshops to drive collaboration and innovation.

A two-year tenure establishing the role of an Employee Director and transitioning Meld Studios to be the first Employee Owned company by Trust (EOT) in Australia.I was nominated by my colleagues to the board of Directors, and responsible for shaping Meld’s employee experience, company-level risk management and strategic decision making. This role was especially critical throughout Covid-19 with the shift to remote work and navigating the unprecedented nature of employee ownership in Australia.

Meld Studios is a design company with studios in Sydney and Melbourne. We exist to improve the everyday lives of people as they interact with the world around them. To do that we work with the largest service organisations - banking, insurance, telecommunications, travel, hospitality, Government, education - to better understand the needs of people and design their services to meet those needs.

I worked on multiple NSW Government projects to solve complex problems for internal and external customers. In collaboration with my team, I worked on creating strategic plans, process improvement and digital identity through the use of Human-centred Design (HCD). Specifically, I was involved in stakeholder research and insights; creating value propositions and content, design principles, personas, journey maps and service blueprints. I supported the development of HCD capability within an organisation, co-facilitating workshops and leading internal marketing for Huddle Sydney.

I co-facilitated 'Design Kit: The course for Human-centred design' developed by both idea.org and +Acumen to university students at Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship. + Created a proposal to SSES and invitation to students+ Created and developed a course outline, and class preparation+ Leading classes/workshops+ Introducing students to design phases: inspiration; ideation (synthesis & prototyping); implementation+ Introducing students to methodologies for each design phase, e.g. empathy mapping, idea clustering, storyboarding etc. + Collaborating with students and providing feedback where necessary

I worked with an event involving the rebranding of BMW Group’s MINI and launch of the MINI Clubman.

I worked with various brands and products, directly engaging with customers and consumers for feedback.
