My responsibilities include ensuring the efficiency of operations, safety and security in the Hotel, maintaining guest services, processing end of day procedures and being a significant point of contact during the overnight shift. My role has a focus on the accuracy and maintenance of reporting and accounting procedures whilst delivering all customer service requirements and functions whilst on duty.

My responsibilities here: include auditing the days transactions (cash, EFTPOS, credit and chargebacks) to ensure accurate entry; generating and distributing guest/booking agent invoices; guest inquiries, arrivals and departures; archiving of documentation in accordance with brand standards; and preparation of documentation required for use in emergencies.

In this part time volunteer position I was responsible for all accounting duties. I entered invoices, complete bank consolidations and prepare quarterly financial reports.
